Le culte de la Majesté Impériale :
Afin d'apprécier á sa juste valeur le culte
porté á la personne de Pu-Yi par son entourage, il faut le
comparer au culte rendu á Sun Yat-sen par la Chine de Tchang
Kai-chek : son portrait était suspendu partout, son testament
était lu au cours des fêtes commémoratives
hebdomadaires, dans tous les actes officiels, toutes les réunions
politiques et les fêtes nationales ; les enfants devaient le
réciter par cœur, tous les lundis, á l'école.
Sa dépouille fut déposée dans un mausolée de
six millions de dollars, sur la Montagne de Pourpre, en face de
Nankin.
